Please join us at Joint Idea for our first Burning Man meet-up! This is an opportunity for local Burners to connect and welcome anyone interested in going to the event. We will be sharing stories from the dusty playa - both magical and practical - and bringing the wonder of the 10 principles alive in the heart of Istanbul. Burning Man staff member, Ms. Ray Boyle, and local Burner, Mustafa Turan will be guiding us on a journey from here to there, and the connections in between.

Ms. Ray Boyle is a social entrepreneur working with Syrian refugees and living between Istanbul and San Francisco. She has been going to Burning Man for 8 consecutive years and has volunteered thousands of hours on different art projects, large and small. In 2015 she was hired as the seasonal XRT Manager for the Government Relations team. In that role, she coordinates and manages guided tours of Black Rock City for local, regional, and national government stakeholders - introducing them to the event and providing a behind the scenes look at the massive infrastructure and community that makes Burning Man so magically possible.
